Mysore/Mysuru: The Women and Child Welfare Department and the Department for the Empowerment of Differently Abled and Senior Citizens have invited applications from eligible differently abled persons for availing various benefits and facilities for the year 2022-23.
The benefits include student scholarship, Pratibha Puraskar, fee reimbursement, Talking Laptop for visually impaired students studying in SSLC and other courses, child care allowance for blind women, self employment tailoring machine for the hearing impaired, distribution of prosthetic equipment etc. Those differently-abled people aged between 18 and 60 years will be provided with three-wheel vehicle and financial assistance for their marriage.
The prescribed application forms can be obtained from the Department website — https://dwdsc.karnataka.gov.in/english or from the Office of the District Disabled Welfare Officer located on Pulikeshi Road in Tilak Nagar.
