Calling housing beneficiaries

Karnataka Maharshi Valmiki Scheduled Tribes Development Corporation has invited applications from eligible beneficiaries belonging to ST, nomadic, semi-nomadic, victims of harassment, former devadasis, inter-caste married couples, widows, fishermen who are homeless to provide houses.

Candidates, aged above 18 years, belonging to ST community-nomadic and a resident of Karnataka for a minimum of 15 years are eligible to apply. Annual income of rural candidates must be within Rs. 98,000 and Rs. 1.20 lakh for urban applicants. The beneficiaries family should not be serving in any semi-Government institutions. Differently-abled beneficiaries belonging to ST community, who have registered themselves at the District Disabled Welfare Office will be provided a total grant of 5 percent by visiting them in person from the registration list. Interested may submit their applications online, along with passport-size photo, copies of caste and income certificate, BPL card, Aadhaar, Voter ID, first page of bank pass book, No Objection Certificate, account details and other documents. The applications can be submitted online from today (Feb. 7) till Feb. 28.
