The Social Welfare Department has invited applications from Law graduates belonging to SC Community to avail student scholarship under its Law Practice training programme. The eligible Law graduates, aged below 40 years who have received their Law degrees two years ago, may apply.
The applicants must have registered with the local Bar Association and must be a member of Karnataka Bar Council. The annual family income of the candidates should not exceed more than Rs. 2.5 lakh.
Candidates must not have attended any training organised by any Departments (DC office or Women & Child Welfare Department) anywhere within the district or State. Interested eligible candidates may apply online after registering through the Social Welfare Department portal (https://sw.kar.nic.in/) before May 24. The copy of filled-in applications and relevant documents, attested by a Gazetted Officer, must be submitted at the office of the Taluk Social Welfare Department Assistant Director before May 25, according to a press release.
