In spite of Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) convening meeting and publishing notices in newspapers and other media, freely roaming pigs are still causing a lot of nuisance to people living under the city limits as well as outskirts of the city. Hence, MCC Commissioner has issued a circular in this regard stating that persons rearing pigs should not let them roam around on the streets and other public places and confine them in their own private land within one week from publication of this notice, failing which MCC will take definitive steps to eradicate them without giving any further notice to the owners, according to a press release.
