Mysuru Zoo is organising Youth Club activities for students of age between 12 and 18 years from July 17, 2022 to Jan.1, 2023. Classes will be held only on Sundays between 10 am and 1.30 pm for 25 Sundays. Students will get exposure to basics of Biodiversity, values of wildlife, conservation of wild animals, Animal Behaviour and captive management of wild animals at Zoo. There will be both theory and practical classes on subjects covering various aspects of these issues.
Zoo Veterinary Officers and other Subject Matter Specialists will interact with the participants. Only 60 students will be selected on first-come-first-serve basis. Filled applications should accompany Recent stamp size colour photograph; Age proof (Copy of Aadhaar Card or Birth Certificate); Blood Group Certificate; Camp fee of Rs.2,500. Intimation and further details will be sent to the selected members to attend the camp through e-mail, according to a press release from Deputy Conservator of Forests & Executive Director, Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens, Mysuru.
