Calling two-wheeler and auto owners

Mysuru: The Mysuru South Police have called upon the owners of the below mentioned two-wheelers and auto rickshaws, which were seized during vehicle checking and accidents, to identify and take custody of the seized vehicles by producing the necessary documents.

In a press release, the Mysuru South Police said that despite their best efforts, the owners of 32 two-wheelers and five auto rickshaws could not be traced. As such, the owners, if any, should contact the Police Station and take custody of the vehicles by producing necessary documents. In case the owners are not traced, the vehicles will be publicly auctioned after taking permission from the Court, the release said.

It is possible that some of those vehicles may be stolen and the Reg. Number plates changed.

As such, the owners should check the chassis and Engine Numbers of the vehicles to identify their vehicle.
