Calling Vokkaliga community members to avail loans

Mysore/Mysuru: Karnataka Vokkaliga Community Development Corporation has invited applications from Backward Class Community — Category 3 – 1A to 1T (barring Vokkaliga, Sarpa, Hallikar, Namadhari, Gangadkar, Das, Reddy, Marasu, Gowda, Kunchitika, Kapu, Heggade, Kamma, Goudar, Uppina Kolaga) for availing loans and subsidies under various  Government Schemes for the year 2022-23.

Self-Employment Scheme: Under this Scheme for a loan of Rs. 50,000, 30 percent of the amount, that is Rs. 10,000, will be provided as subsidy while for remaining Rs. 40,000, 4 percent interest must be paid.

For financial assistance of Rs. 50,001 to Rs. 1,00,000, 20 percent of the amount, that is Rs. 20,000, will be provided as subsidy while for remaining Rs. 80,000, 4 percent interest be paid.

For financial assistance of Rs. 1,00,001 to Rs. 2,00,000, 15 percent of the amount, that is Rs. 20,000 – Rs. 30,000, will be provided as subsidy while for remaining Rs. 1,70,000, 4 percent interest must be paid.

Subsidy Scheme for Pur-chase of Taxi / Goods Vehicle / Passenger Autorickshaw: Under this Scheme about 50 percent of the amount, that is Rs. 3,00,000 financial assistance will be provided from the Corporation. Interest must be paid for the remaining amount.

Ganga Kalyana Scheme: Under this scheme loans will be provided for individual irrigation system to small and micro farmers.

Individual Borewell Sinking Scheme:  For sinking borewells in Bengaluru Urban, Bengaluru Rural, Ramanagara, Chikkaballapura, Kolar and Tumakuru Districts, Rs. 4 lakh is the fixed loan amount out of which Rs. 3.50 lakh is the financial assistance and Rs. 50,000 is the loan amount with 4 percent interest. For remaining districts, Rs. 2 lakh is the fixed loan amount out of which Rs. 1.50 lakh is the financial assistance and Rs. 50,000 is the loan amount with 4 percent interest. Rs. 50,000 cost for electric works will be provided by the respective electricity boards.

Applicants must own at least one acre of land in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Uttara Kannada, Kodagu, Hassan, Chikkamagalur or Shivamogga while two acre land at one place in remaining districts.

Collective Irrigation Scheme: For small and micro farmers with 8 to 15 acres of land, Rs. 4 lakh loan will be provided to sink 2 borewells while for those who have 15 acre land, Rs. 6 lakh loan will be provided to sink 3 borewells. Rs. 50,000 cost for electric works of each borewell will be provided by the respective electricity boards. For individual borewells in Malnad districts irrigation facility will be provided through open wells under the prescribed costs.

Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Scheme: Under this free skill development training for all the community members is offered at Government institutions like ITIs, GTTC and KGTTI through  short-term courses. Interested may apply online by visiting https://www.kaushalkar.com.
