The imposing Canada Place Complex with Cruise Ship waiting.

VANCOUVER — A bustling west coast seaport in British Columbia is among Canada’s densest, most ethnically diverse cities and a popular filming location. Here, they have established Canada Place, an iconic landmark and venue located in the heart of Vancouver’s downtown harbour front. The Canada Place is a venue for world-class events and an inspirational Canadian experience. It is a multi-use facility that includes fun flying rides like ‘Fly over Canada’ for tourists. ‘Fly Over Canada’ is a wonderful simulated flight ride which takes us round Canada. The awesome ride is a very creative idea of promoting tourism and an incredibly enjoyable one.

Well, what is this ride? A promotional photo with this article shows how visitors are made to sit and experience the ride. See Canada like never before at this new, all ages ride. It takes off into a huge doomed screen with the latest projection and ride technologies, creating a true experience that took us across Canada.

Excitement of watching fly over Canada. (A promotional photo —Visitors are not allowed to take their pictures).

The ride gave us a real feeling of flight. Participants are air-suspended with their feet dangling before this 20 meter spherical screen, while the film whisks away on an exhilarating eight minute journey across Canada from east to west. Special effects including wind mist, and scents are integrated with the ride motion to create an unforgettable experience. It was indeed an extraordinary show, which has been imprinted in our memories.

Gorgeous Rocky Mountains of Canada

The famous Rocky Mountains of Canada, also known as Canadian Rockies, stretch some 3,000 miles from British Colombia to Alberta in Canada and down to New Mexico in the US. The range offers dramatic wilderness, diverse wildlife and alpine lakes. Human population is not very dense in Canadian Rockies with an average of just four people per Sq.Km. It is one of the most incredible views one can experience in one’s life.

The most beautiful picture of Rocky Mountains taken by famous photographer Bela Baliko at Moraine Lake. This remains one of the most photographed locations.

Our son had arranged to take us to the mountains from Whistler village, a village about 45 minutes from Vancouver. We ascended the mountains at a height of 7,500 ft. by the Gondola Service (see the photo). And the most thrilling moment here was the helicopter tour over the mountains. The tour was a memorable lifetime experience (see photo). My wife, who remembered teaching her students, about these mountains in her geography class, enjoyed the view and the tour to her heart’s content. It was a dream come true for her!
