Cancellation of trains due to landslides

Mysuru: Landslide is reported in 68 locations in a stretch of 56 kms between Subramanya Road and Sakleshpur ghat section of Hassan Mangalore Railway line.

The debris is cleared in 40 locations and more than 1 lakh cubic meter is yet to be cleared from the remaining 28 locations. Railway staff, local labourers and earth excavating machines are working round the clock to restore the line.

The following trains are Cancelled/Partially cancelled in view of the landslides.

1. Train No.16517/16523 KSR Bengaluru to Kannur/Karwar express journey commencing on 02.09.2018, 03.09.2018, 04.09.2018, 09.09.2018, 10.09.2018 and 11.09.2018 is cancelled.
2. Train No.16511/16513 KSR Bengaluru to Kannur/Karwar express journey commencing on 01.09.2018, 05.09.2018, 06.09.2018, 07.09.2018, 08.09. 2018, 12.09.2018, 13.09.2018 and 14.09.2018 is cancelled.
3. Train No.16512/16514 Kannur/Karwar to KSR Bengaluru express journey commencing on 02.09.2018, 03.09.2018, 04.09.2018, 05.09.2018, 09.09. 2018, 10.09.2018, 11.09.2018 and 12.09.2018 is cancelled.
4. Train No.16518/16524. Kannur/Karwar to KSR Bengaluru express journey commencing on 06.09.2018, 07.09.2018, 08.09.2018, 13.09.2018, 14.09. 2018 and 15.09.2018 is cancelled.
5.  Train No. 16575 Yesvantpur to Mangalore Jn. Express journey commencing on 02.09.2018, 04.09.2018, 06.09.2018, 09.09.2018, 11.09. 2018 and 13.09.2018 will run between Yesvantpur to Hassan and is partially cancelled between Hassan to Mangalore Jn.
6. Train No. 16515 Yesvantpur to Karwar express journey commencing on 03.09.2018, 05.09.2018, 07.09.2018, 10.09.2018, 12.09.2018 and 14.09.2018 will run between Yesvantpur to Hassan and is partially cancelled between Hassan to Karwar.
7. Train No. 16576 Karwar to Yesvantpur express journey commencing on 03.09.2018, 05.09.2018, 07.09.2018, 10.09. 2018, 12.09.2018, 14.09.2018 will run between Hassan and Yesvantpur and is partially cancelled between Mangalore Jn to Hassan.
8. Train No. 16516 Karwar to Yesvantpur express journey commencing on 04.09.2018, 06.09.2018, 08.09.2018, 11.09.2018, 13.09.2018 and 15.09.2018 will run between Hassan and Yesvantpur and is partially cancelled between Karwar to Hassan, according to a press release from S.G.Yatish, Sr. Divisional Commercial Managaer & PRO, Mysuru.
