Mysore/Mysuru: Depressed over financial issues, a Constable attached to City Armed Reserve (CAR) Police force, committed suicide at his residence in Naidu Nagar on Tuesday. The deceased Constable is Venkatesh (42), who was serving as a Computer Operator at City Police Commissioner’s Office. He leaves behind his wife, a teacher at a private school and a 13-year-old daughter.
According to the complaint lodged by his wife at N.R. Police Station, Venkatesh had taken loans and unable to repay them, he had taken the extreme step when his family members were away on Tuesday morning.
N.R. Police have registered a case in this regard.
