Mysore/Mysuru: A man and his son were among three people who were killed on the spot when the car in which they were travelling crashed into a retaining wall near Jayapura Gate on Mysuru-Bengaluru Highway yesterday.
The deceased have been identified as Tammanna Gowda (56) and his son Muthuraj (28), natives of Chikkanayakanahalli in K.R. Nagar and Sachin (27), the car driver, a native of Hassan.
Tammanna and Muthuraj, who were residing at Kengeri in Bengaluru, had gone to attend a function at Maduvinakudi village.
Yesterday at about 5 am, while they were on their way to Bengaluru via Mysuru in their car, the driver lost control of the car and crashed into the roadside retaining wall killing all the three on the spot.
