Mysuru: A 38-year-old car driver, unable to bear the harassment by moneylenders, committed suicide by hanging self. The deceased has been identified as Satish, a resident of Kalyangiri in city.
Satish, who was working as a driver of a car which ferries school children to their schools, had taken loans from moneylenders to buy a car. It is learnt that he was addicted to alcohol.
As he was unable to pay the loans, moneylenders began to pressurise him to return the money. Unable to bear the harassment, Satish allegedly committed suicide by hanging self. In his death note, Satish has stated that he himself was responsible for his death.
Udayagiri Police have registered a case in this regard.
