To help the 12th pass students about the options available, NIE Institute of Technology (NIEIT), Mysuru, has organised a “Career Guidance and Project Exhibition” in its campus on Sept. 18. The resource person for the career guidance programme is Dr. K.V. Nagaraj, Professor of Mass Communications, who has extensive experience in career counselling and guidance.
The project exhibition is being put-up by all Departments to showcase student projects which involve innovation or societal concerns. Many of these projects are either sponsored by KSCST or industries. This programme is open for all 12th pass science students. Parents may also attend.
The programme starts with registration at 10 am, the career guidance talk is for one hour from 10.30 am onwards. The visitors can then visit different departments for project exhibition and demonstration. The programme will end at 1.30 pm. Pick up and drop transport arrangement is made from Hootagalli junction, Hunsur Road at 10 am and 1.45 pm for those who travel by City Bus.
