Mysuru: A Career Guidance programme was organised by Bharatiya Jain Sanghatan (BJS), Mysuru, at Sri Mahaveer Jain Vidyalaya in Siddarthanagar here on Apr. 18.
The programme was inaugurated by chief resource person Ritesh Jain Modi, Sri Hitesh Shah, Chairman – CRESTA, School Trustee Champalal Jain, Parasmal Jain, entrepreneur and journalist Ravindra Joshi, Prakash Srisrimaal, President of BJS Mysuru, Prakash Gulecha, Secretary, Anand Patwa, Project Coordinator and others by lighting the lamp.
Ravindra Joshi, in his speech, emphasised the need for these types of programmes to help the students choose the right career and recalled that these type of programmes were not available earlier and lauded the efforts of BJS in conducting such programmes.
Resource person was Ritesh Jain Modi, who has been a leading career counsellor, frequently conducting Live Career Helpline on various National TV channels, has developed a unique and integrated approach to career counselling which encompasses both parents and teachers in the key decision-making processes.
Nearly 250 students from 9th to 12th std. from various institutions participated in the programme which was free. Anand Patwa, Project Coordinator, proposed a vote of thanks.
