Mysuru: Vinuthana Samsthe, Mysuru, has invited applications from meritorious students to present cash award in memory of Nanjangud’s model teacher late B.S. Parvathayya (BSP).
Students, who have scored high marks in SSLC Maths and Science exams can apply. Only five students can avail ‘Swami Vivekananda Priya’ award.
In addition, students who have scored high in II PUC Kannada exam can apply for ‘Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa Priya’ award. Only students from Nanjangud Government Schools and Colleges are eligible to apply.

Ex-Servicemen’s children
Applications are also invited from Ex-Servicemen’s children scoring above 60 percent in SSLC and PUC exams for ‘General K. S. Thimayya’ cash prize. The students, residing in Mysuru, Mandya and Chamarajanagar are eligible to apply at the Office of the Deputy Director, Department of Sainik Welfare and Resettlement, JLB Road, Mysuru, before Aug. 31, according to a press release from J.R. Balasubramanyam, Dy. Director.
