Caste abuse case: MLA Munirathna remanded to Judicial Custody

Bengaluru: The Special Court of People’s Representatives remanded BJP MLA Munirathna to Judicial Custody, here yesterday before adjourning the matter to Wednesday.

Munirathna faces charges of issuing death threats and making casteist remarks against a contractor. Senior Counsel Ashok Harnalli represented Munirathna, MLA from Rajarajeshwari Nagar Assembly Constituency.
