Sir,
Our city roads are dangerous for driving with rampant potholes, unscientific, unmarked humps, rash driving, stray dogs and what not. Now, there is one more reason for accidents.
Every morning, some people have made it a regular habit to let loose their cattle in our area. They come back later in the day to take them. The whole day, these cattle roam around the area in search of food. Many sit right in the middle of the narrow streets. Some of them are ready to gore the passers by with their intimidating horns.
I am sure it’s the same situation in other areas of the city too. The local authorities can take steps to prevent this menace in the interest of the safety of the residents.
All they have to do is warn and penalise the owners to such an extent that they would start thinking of shifting their animals out of the city.
Can we dream of making our beautiful city roads free of cattle and dogs?
