Mysore/Mysuru: Cauvery Ayurveda Hospital, Mysuru, has opened its new Out-Patient Department (OPD) facility opposite JSS Hospital on M.G. Road in city.
The new OPD facility was inaugurated on Mar. 23 by Cauvery Group of Institutions Chairman Dr. G.R. Chandrashekhar in the presence of Senior Gynaecologist of Cauvery Multispeciality Hospital Dr. Prabhakar Naik, Director Dr. N. Krishnaprasad, Principal Dr. Ramachandra Nisargi and Medical Superintendent of Cauvery Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital Dr. Poornima Krishnamurthy.
The OPD provides consultations from specialists from the Departments of Kayachikitsa (Internal Medicine), Panchakarma, Shalya (Surgery), Shalakya (Ophthalmology and ENT), Prasooti and Stree Roga (Obstetrics and Gynaecology), Kaumarabrithya (Paediatrics) and Swasthya Rakshana (Preventive and Social Medicine), Yoga, Dietetics and Nutrition.
This Centre also serves as a Polyclinic with well-equipped diagnostic centre with Laboratory, Radiology and Sonology facilities.
Procedures such as Bronchoscopy, Endoscopy and Colonoscopy are also available at the new OPD facility, according to a press release.
