Mysore/Mysuru: City’s Cauvery College of Pharmacy, had organised ‘NeoPhyte’ programme for its new students at its premises in city recently.
The programme was inaugurated by University of Mysore Vice-Chancellor Prof. G. Hemantha Kumar. Corporator G. Roopa was the guest of honour.
Prof. G. Hemantha Kumar in his address stressed on the role of Pharmacists and appreciated their participation in the fight against Covid-19, while Corporator Roopa enlightened the students regarding the future prospects for pharmacy graduates.
Cauvery Group of Institution & Cauvery Heart & Multi-Speciality Hospital Chairman Dr. G.R. Chandrashekar, who presided, encouraged students for active participation in building healthy society. Dr. Gurkukar Mathews (Dean-Academics), Cauvery Group of Institutions proposed the vote of thanks. Earlier, Dr. Vijay Kumar, Principal, Cauvery College of Pharmacy Principal Dr. Vijay Kumar welcomed the gathering. Chief Administrative Officer P.S. Ganesh Prabhu, Vice-Principal of Cauvery College of Pharmacy Dr. Kiran Kumar Hullatti and others were present.
