Mysore/Mysuru: Continuing their drive against drug peddlers in city, the City Crime Branch (CCB) Police, in separate cases, have arrested four drug peddlers and have seized a total of 46.691-kg ganja worth about Rs. 23 lakh, Rs. 10,000 cash, three mobile phones and one car from them.
On Oct. 22, the Police, acting on a tip off, raided a spot on Hanumanthanagar Road in Bannimantap, where drug peddlers were waiting for customers in a car and have arrested three peddlers. The Cops have also seized 5.691-kg ganja, one Maruti 800 car, Rs. 10,000 cash and three mobile phones from them.
On Oct. 23, the CCB Cops raided House No. 3310 on C.V. Road 7th Cross in Mandi Mohalla and have arrested one peddler besides seizing 41-kg ganja stored illegally in the house.
Both the cases have been registered at Narasimharaja Police Station. DCP (Crime and Traffic) M.S. Geetha Prasanna and CCB ACP C.K. Ashwathnarayan guided CCB Inspector A. Mallesh, ASI Raju and staff Anil, Subhanallah Baldar, D. Srinivasprasad, Joseph Noronha, Ravikumar, Radhesh, Janardhanrao, K.G. Srinivas, Arunkumar, Raghu and Mamatha in the nabbing and seizing operation.
