Mysuru lad Suraj R. Prabodh, teaming up with Hardeep Singh Sandhu, lost their first round tie in the men’s Doubles event in the Central Excise India F2 Futures $15,000 men’s Tennis Tournament at Kolkata yesterday.
India’s Abhinav Sanjeev Shanmugham and Dhurv Sunish beat Suraj Prabodh and Hardeep Singh Sandhu 3-6, 6-4, 11-9 and entered the quarter-finals in the men’s Doubles event.
In the men’s Singles first round slated for Tuesday, Suraj Prabodh will take on Serbia’s Goran Markovic.
