Certificate courses at Music University

Karnataka State Dr. Gangubai Hangal Music and Performing Arts University has invited applications for admission to various certificate courses at the Study Centres in Mysuru, Mandya and Hunsur. The certificate courses span for three months and six months and classes will be held for three days in a week from 5.30 pm to 7.30 pm. The subject of courses include Devotional Songs, Sugama Sangeetha, Folk Music, Harmonium, Tabla, Yakshagana, Spoken English, Gamaka, Yoga, Hindustani Music, Karnatak Music, Photography, Keyboard, Guitar, Mandolin, Violin, Flute, Bharatanatyam and Acting. Every subject course should have a minimum admission of 15 candidates without which the course will not be started. A candidate is eligible to join courses in two subjects by paying fees separately. Interested candidates who have passed SSLC or equivalent examination can obtain the application form from Dec.2 and submit the filled-in application before Dec.16 to the University Office on JLB Road, Lakshmipuram, Mysuru-570 004.
