Sir,
I was totally baffled to read in Star of Mysore how CESC is taking the hapless power consumers of Mysuru to ransom by frequent power shutdown throughout the day from 10 am to 5 pm causing utter inconvenience and untold mental agony to domestic, industrial, educational and IT employees with no room to protest and lodge complaints except through so-called Vidyut Adalats.
In these days of adoption of galloping high-end digital state-of-the-art technologies in every field including power delivery technology to minimise power disruption, why does CESC switch off so many Power Distribution Centres with one stroke in such vast consumer power supply areas paralysing so many public power consumers?
It is high time CESC devise new ways of minimum power disruptions to the power consumers when business activities are limping back to normalcy post covid.
