CET exam on July 30 & 31

Bengaluru: The Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to Under-Graduate professional  courses in the State such as Engineering, Architecture, Pharmacy, Agriculture, Horticulture  (barring Medical and Dental courses) will take place on July 30 and 31.

Deputy Chief Minister Dr. C.N. Ashwath Narayan, who is also the Higher Education Minister, said that CET will be conducted with all precautionary measures in place and the students need not worry. 

PG-CET will also be held as per schedule on Aug. 8 and 9, he said and added the Diploma CET for admission of Diploma students to Under Graduate Engineering Courses will also be held as per schedule on Aug.9. 

He said the Government is yet to take a decision on the date of  K-SET to be conducted by the University of Mysore, which is the Nodal Agency, for appointment to Assistant Professor posts in Degree Colleges.
