Mysuru: Dr. Ng. Iboyaima Singh, Senior Principal Scientist, Department of Fruit and Vegetable Technology, CSIR-CFTRI, Mysuru, was conferred the prestigious Dr. M. Mahadeviah Award- 2016 in recognition of his significant contribution to the development of “Food Processing and Packaging” in the country.
This award was given by the All India Food Processors’ Association, New Delhi, during their 73rd Annual Conference and National Seminar on “Vision 2025: Development of Food Processing Industries in Eastern India” held on Dec.15 at Hotel J.W. Marriott in Kolkata.
The award, comprising a Silver Plate and a Citation, was presented by the chief guest, Abdul Razzak Mollah, Minister-in-Charge, Department of Food Processing Industries & Horticulture, Government of West Bengal and guest of honour J.P. Meena, Secretary, Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India.
Dr. Mahadevaiah is a renowned Food Scientist and Technologist and Former Deputy Director (Retd.), CSIR-CFTRI, Mysuru.
