Mysore/Mysuru: CSIR-Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI), Mysuru, is organising a two-day online workshop on “3Ps of Food Industry: Processing, Preservation & Packaging” on Mar. 3 and 4 under the CSIR Integrated Skill Initiative for the benefit of Entrepreneurs / Startups working in the area of Food Processing.
An overview of processing of various food products such as bakery products, grains, spices, fruits & vegetables, speciality foods will be covered in the webinar. Food preservation is an important aspect to protect food from microbial growths and maintain safety of the product. Application of preservatives, both natural and artificial, knowledge about the food safety standards and regulatory requirements are the major concerns for MSMEs and Startups to get a robust foothold in market.
Packaging provides protection and tampering resistance in a way ensuring safe handling and distribution of the products. The online workshop will be held from 9.30 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 4.30 pm.
Last date for online payment and registration is Feb.26.
Entrepreneur aspirants with Graduation/Diploma can also attend this workshop.
