Mysuru: Taking advantage of an open window, miscreants have snatched a gold chain from a woman sleeping at her house in Udayagiri Police Station limits on Tuesday night.
The woman victim has been identified as the wife on one Syed Alam, a resident of Kalyanagiri.
On May 16 night, the woman was sleeping on a bed close to the window which was opened for ventilation, when miscreants made good with her 13 gms gold chain.
The woman came to know that her chain was missing from her neck only when she woke up on Wednesday morning, following which she lodged a compliant with Udayagiri Police.
