Mysuru: Children’s Theatre Club ‘Chakkalaguli,’ supported by I Can The Learning Centre School, will present a contemporary musical show “Food Glorious Food” based on Charles Dickens critically-acclaimed novel Oliver Twist and inspired by 1968 classic Oliver.
The plot set in Victorian England charts the life story of a young orphan boy Oliver. The execution of the plot is mystical and unlike any done before or witnessed by the city’s theatre aficionados. The presentation itself integrates two classic art forms — Mime and Kathak.
More than 200 students will take stage to drive home the message of “Child Rights & Child Safety.”
‘Chakkalaguli’ is conducting two exclusive shows at Kalamandira in city on Dec.17 (5.30 pm) and Dec.18 (10.30 am).
The show on Dec.18 is exclusively for the student community of Mysuru and schools are encouraged to send their students to experience creativity and drama take wings and turn it into a magical experience.
