Mysuru: A week after the Dasara celebrations, devotees will throng Chamundi Hill to witness the Maha Rathotsava of Goddess Chamundeshwari to be held on Oct. 5 between 8.05 am and 8.45 am in the auspicious Tula lagna.
This will be followed by Theppotsava on Oct. 7 at 7 pm.
Prior to this, the idol of Chamundeshwari will be taken on Vrishabha Vahana on Oct. 3; Kalasharohana and Gajarohana will be performed on Oct. 4.
The Hamsavahanotsava will be held on Oct. 6, Shayanotsava on Oct. 8, Mantapotsava on Oct. 9 and Mudi Utsava on Oct. 10, according to a press release.
