Sir,
On July 3, 2024, I applied online for a change of address in the RC of my wife’s two-wheeler.
On Aug. 2, 2024, it was approved by RTO Mysuru West, and on Aug. 12, my wife received a message stating that the RC was dispatched and could be tracked using Speed Post Tracking No. TA422812537IN.
However, to date, the RC has not been delivered. When I check the Speed Post Tracking, it shows ‘consignment details not found.’
I then contacted the Post Office to inquire about the situation. They informed me that the RTO often uploads the Speed Post number in their portal without actually handing over the documents to the Postal Department. Sometimes, these documents are kept for more than a month.
This is disappointing and not what one would expect from a responsible department. I request the RTO Mysuru West to provide clarification and rectify this issue at the earliest.
