Cheluvegowda (73), a resident of Maratikyathanahalli in the taluk, passed away yesterday night at the village.
He leaves behind his wife Lakshmamma, sons Suresh, Rama and Venkatesh, daughter Latha and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were held at the family’s farm land in the village this afternoon.
