Chemists and Druggists Welfare Assn. extends support to patients

Mysore/Mysuru: The members of Mysuru District Chemists & Druggists Welfare Association (MDCDWA), on the occasion of World AIDS Day, visited Asha Kirana Hospital recently and extended support to patients undergoing treatment.

They were accompanied by Medical Officer of Asha Kirana Hospital Dr. VHT Swamy, who offered medical guidance and interacted with patients alongside the MDCDWA members.

The Association members, displaying their dedication to humanitarian service and strengthening patient care in the community, distributed medications, fruits and nutritional essentials, aimed at offering comfort, strength and hope to patients during their ongoing treatment and spent time encouraging patients and their caregivers.

Speaking on the occasion, Association President Kumaraswamy said, “As part of the healthcare fraternity, we hold a responsibility to stand by patients in need. This visit is a reflection of our commitment to social welfare.”

Association Secretary Amanulla Khan said, “MDCDWA will continue to organise similar programmes across Mysuru to support patients and healthcare institutions. Our goal is to reach communities that need us the most.”

MDCDWA Treasurer K.N. Naveen Kumar and others were present.
