Chief Minister Siddharamaiah will present his 12th Budget on Mar. 15. The State Cabinet recently took the decision to hold the Budget Session from Mar. 15-28. It has also sent a note seeking permission for the same to Governor Vajubhai R. Vala.
Chief Minister Siddharamaiah will be presenting his fourth Budget of the current State Government and it is expected to be loaded with sops with the Assembly election just 14 months away.
It is said that the Budget size is expected to cross Rs. 2 lakh crore compared to Rs. 1.63 crore Budget presented for the year 2016-17. The Budget is also expected to give emphasis to farmers who have suffered huge losses owing to severe drought in the State.
