Chief Minister to visit New Delhi on Nov. 21

To launch Nandini brand milk

Mysuru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will be leaving Bengaluru for the National Capital New Delhi on Nov. 21.

He will leave HAL Airport in Bengaluru by a special aircraft at 9 am and land at Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi at 11.30 am.

On his arrival, the CM will launch Karnataka Milk Federation’s (KMF) Nandini brand milk and its variants at a programme jointly organised by Karnataka Co-operative Milk Producers Federation Ltd. and Mandya District Co-operative Milk Producer Societies Union Ltd. at 12 noon at Hotel Ashoka, Neeti Marg, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi.

Following the launch, Nandini milk will be available in Delhi, taking on brands like AMUL & Mother Dairy. KMF plans to sell one lakh litres of milk daily in Delhi & extend it to 5 lakh litres in the coming days. Nandini milk was being sold in Delhi 29 years ago, but was suddenly stopped for some reasons. Now, it is being revived.

After completing his other engagements, Siddaramaiah will depart from Delhi’s  Indira Gandhi Airport at 5 pm and land at Mysore Airport in Mandakalli at  7.45 pm. The CM will stay in Mysuru for the night on Nov. 21, according to a press release from K. Chiranjivi, Officer on Special Duty to the Chief Minister and Ex-Officio Additional Secretary to Government.
