Chikkaida Heggade (80) of Hunnanadoddi village in Maddur taluk, passed away at a private hospital in Mandya on Wednesday.
He leaves behind his wife Malavamma, two daughters, three sons and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were held at his native village on Thursday, according to family sources.
