Mysore/Mysuru: Raaga Vaibhava Charitable Trust has organised a Karnatak Classical Music by Child Prodigy Rahul R. Vellal at Sri Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha on JLB Road in city on Apr. 11 at 6 pm.
He will be accompanied by Vid. B.K. Raghu on violin, Vid. Tumkur B. Ravishankar on mridanga and Vid. Raghunandan Rao on ghata.
About the Main Artiste: Presently aged 13 years, Vid. Rahul started learning music at the age 4 and currently is under the well-known vocalists, Ranjani and Gayathri and mridangist K.U. Jayachandra Rao.
Son of Ravishankar Vellal and Hema Suryanarayana, he is interested in western music also and has given vocal concerts at six international cities.
Accolades and honour have come to him from several music Sabhas in India and abroad. BBC Asian Channel has beamed his recordings many times.
