Mysuru: With an aim to encourage children to embrace art and culture in the digital world and to highlight the heritage of Mysuru among them, Bherunda has organised various competitions for students on Nov.18 at the Palace premises in city, marking Children’s Day celebrations.
Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar will distribute prizes to the winners.
The contests will be held in different categories like on-the-spot painting, poetry and slogan writing.
The topic for painting will be ‘Mysuru-My heritage’ for students from 1st to 7th std.
On-the-spot Kannada and English poetry writing contest for students of 8th to 10th; On-the-spot slogan writing contest for students from 5th to 10th std. The topics for poetry and slogan writing will be provided on-the-spot.
The students participating in the contests and their parents will be allowed into the Mysore Palace. Each school can send one entry under each category.
Participants should bring their own colours and brushes. Sheets will be provided at the venue.
