Mysuru: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) will be organising its Annual IT/ITES Conference on ‘Cyber Security and IoT: Destination Mysuru’ in city on Dec.18.
Announcing this at a press meet at Patrakarthara Bhavan here this morning, Conference Convenor Shankar Prasad said that Deputy Chief Minister Dr. C.N. Ashwath Narayan, who is also the IT-BT Minister, will inaugurate the conference at Hotel Country Inn on KRS road here at 10 am on Dec.18.
Pointing out that the conference is an initiative to create an enabling environment for Indian home grown businesses to develop and manufacture products and to find end-to-end solutions in Mysuru and also to attract large and small IT and ITES (Information Technology Enabled Services) to Mysuru, he said that the conference will urge the Government to allot 200 acres of land for setting up an IoT (Internet of Things) hub, with focus on making Mysuru a Cyber City.
