Mysuru: With rapid urbanisation and industrialisation in India, waste management has become a matter of great concern. The various forms of industrial waste often end up in landfills or water bodies leading to environmental and health problems. Therefore, efficient industrial waste management is a high priority for sustainable development.
Keeping this in mind, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Mysuru Zone, in partnership with Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) is organising a Conference on “Industrial Waste Management” on Aug.23 at Hotel Radisson Blu in city.
The objective of the meet is to spread awareness on global best practices in waste management, use of cost effective technologies and products.
