Mysore/Mysuru: Senior theatre artiste Prashanth Hiremath of Mysuru has been selected for State-level S.B. Jangama Shetty Theatre Award given by Ranga Sangama Vedike of Kalaburagi.
The award, which carries a cash prize of Rs. 10,000 and a citation, will be conferred on Prashanth at a programme to be held at Kalaburagi on July 18.
A retired Rangayana artiste from Mysuru, Prashanth still enacts in dramas and directs plays, said a press release from Ranga Sangama Vedike Gen. Secretary Dr. Sujatha Jangama Shetty.
