Mysuru: The following four athletes from Mysuru have excelled at the CBSE State-level Athletics Meet-2024, held at PSSEMR School in Davanagere recently:
Ishana Devaiah Pykera, a Class 9 student at Excel Public School, Mysuru, bagged 2 medals — a Silver Medal in 800m running and a Bronze in 400m running — in U-17 category.
M.A. Varsha, a Class 9 student at Dayananda Arya Vidya (DAV) Public School, Mysuru, bagged 2 medals — a Gold in 400m running and a Silver in 200m running — in U-17 category.
Kashvi Agrahar, a Class 9 student at Podar International School, Mysuru, bagged a Bronze in Long-Jump in U-17 category.
Yukthi, a student at SVEI Public School, bagged 2 medals — a Silver in Long-Jump and a Bronze in 100m running — in U-14 category.
All the four athletes are being trained by retired Sports Authority of India (SAI) Coach Prabhakar.
