K.V. Vyshak, a promising cyclist from Mysuru, has won two gold medals at the recently concluded National Mountain Biking Championship at Pune.
Vyshak, aged 18, participated in ‘Junior-Men’ category. He is a student of JSS Polytechnic, Mysuru. Vyshak won gold medals in both ‘Individual Time Trial’ and ‘Massed Start’ events and he is the current Junior Men National Champion.
He has also qualified for 23rd National Road Cycling Championship 2018 and he becomes the only cyclist from Mysuru to qualify this year for the National Road Cycling Competition that will be held at Kurukshetra, Haryana, from Nov.21 to 24.
Vyshak is training under Ekalavya awardee Lokesh Narasimhachar, who also hails from Mysuru.
