City cyclist represents India at Asian MTB Championship

A 17-year-old cyclist from city, Adonis K. Tangpu, a student of Cycling My Sooru Training Academy, represented the country in the 12th Asian Junior MTB Cycling Championship 2020, organised by UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale), at Chiang Rai, Thailand.

He is the only cyclist from Karnataka State to participate in the U-18 age category and has secured 6th place. This is his 2nd participation in Asian Championship. He trains under T.V. Nagaraj, Coach and Founder of Cycling My Sooru Training Academy, Nivedithanagar, for the past 4 years.
