Mysuru: Sri Jayakrishna Arts Abode, Chennai, is conducting “Chennaiyal Vaikundam” from Dec. 30 to Jan. 1. The event will be inaugurated by Sri Sivagnana Balaya Swamigal. K. Lakshmi Narayan, Minister of Public Works and Tourism, Puducherry, will be the chief guest of the evening on Dec. 30.
On Jan. 1, Karnataka Kalashree, Dr. K. Kumar, Professor and Head, Department of Dance, Fine Arts College, University of Mysore, will be receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award and will be followed by Bharatanatya performance by him with his daughters, Kalemane Sisters Lekha and Nidhi at Shakti Sangeeta Sabha, Chennai, according to a press release.
