Mysuru: City’s Bharatanatyam exponent Radhika Nandakumar has been invited by Berlin Kannada Balaga to take part in the Kannada Rajyotsava celebrations in Germany on Nov.25.
Radhika and her three disciples Vyshnavi Datta, Kruthi Krishnamurthy and Aparna Sundaram from USA will be performing South Asia’s very first Dance Mono Ballet Narada Koravanji, which was composed in Kannada in 16th century by Sri Vadiraja Yateendra.
She is also invited by the Italian Conservatory of Music in Vicenza, Italy for lecture demonstrations and performances from Nov.28 to Dec.2. Aparna, a Mysurean, has established Swapanthi Dance Academy in USA. Vyshnavi is Prime Minister Narendra Modi Scholarship holder and Kruthi has performed at many national dance events.
