Mysuru: Renowned city dancers Pooja Sugam and K.M. Samiksha will present a Bharatanatyam duet as part of Natyarangam’s prestigious monthly series, an initiative of the Narada Gana Sabha Trust at Swami Haridoss Giri Mini Hall in Chennai today (Oct. 19) at 6 pm.
Elevating the recital with their musical mastery, Jayashree Ramanathan will lead on Nattuvangam, Deepu Karunakaran on vocals, Nagai P. Sriram on mridanga and A.P. Krishna Prasad on flute.
Natyarangam has garnered widespread recognition for its artistic vision and its dedication to producing high calibre programmes. With over two decades of steadfast effort, it has elevated the standards of classical dance, setting a new benchmark for dancers and their collaboration with musicians, enriching the tradition of dance music.
