City’s well-known flautist V. Vamshidhar, grandson and disciple of V. Deshikachar and D. Balakrishna, and an All India Radio (AIR) Mysore artiste, has been awarded ‘Top Grade’ in the Karnatak instrumental category (flute) by AIR Directorate recently.
