Mysuru: Agnika Ajay Kumar, disciple of Sri Nimishamba School of Dance Founder Sridhar Jain (of Apthamithra- fame), has been selected from India to take part at the ongoing Dance World Cup final at Meliã, Carrer de Joan Salvat Papasseit 38, 08870 Sitges, Barcelona, Spain, from June 22 to 30.
A total of 20,000 participants from 54 countries are taking part in this contest. Agnika was selected in the Classical Dance category at the India qualifiers held at Bengaluru on Jan.20 and 21. She is the daughter of Bharath Cancer Hospital Chairman Dr. Ajay Kumar and Bhagya Ajay Kumar.
