The Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighters of the Academy of Martial Science (AMS) participated in the MMA Club Championship held at Bengaluru recently and have won 10 medals (3 Gold, 4 Silver and 3 Bronze). MMA athletes from various districts of the State participated in the event that was hosted by AMMAK sanctioned by MMA India which is the sole governing body for the combat sport of MMA in India. This event also served as selection trials for the upcoming Bengaluru Open MMA Championships to be held in December where athletes from over 25 States are expected to participate
