Two students of De Paul International Residential (DPIRSM), Mysuru, have been selected for the Vincentian Summer Programme at De Paul University in Chicago, USA. Melvin Francis, the Head Boy and Rhea Murtem of DPIRSM have already left Mysuru for the month-long programme being held from July 5 to Aug.4.
It is an intensive programme for high school students that combines Catholic identity instruction (Vincentian mission and values), English language courses, cultural themes, new media communications and field trips. The programme is designed to provide educational opportunities and the necessary skills to compete in a global environment to both visiting high school students and DePaul University students who work with them as peer mentors.
